In an interview by Philippine-based newspaper Inquirer, Franco talked a little bit about the new Miss Universe.

When asked about the Instagram exchange between him and the Miss Universe, Franco said: “People told me she had a crush on me, so I was giving some love back.”

Inquirer then reminded him that Wurtzbach responded with “I LOVE YOU MORE!!!,” followed by three heart emojis, the actor replied: “Whoa! Somebody is playing matchmaker here.”

Franco admitted that he and Pia Wurtzbach have a busy schedule but he does not dismiss the possibility of a date. “She must have a crazy (busy) life. I don’t know how we would even ever get together. We will see what happens, man.”

The actor also revealed that he never been to the Philippines, but have worked alongside with some Filipino artists in a World War II movie called “The Great Raid.” “That was supposed to take place in the Philippines, but we actually shot in Australia. There were a lot of great Filipino actors in that film. I loved working with them,” the actor said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mikhail Varshavski, a.k.a. Dr. Mike, also recently posted videos of him and Wurtzbach on his Snapchat account.

The two became friends only last month. But ABS-CBN noted that it seems like the two have even become closer over the past couple of weeks.

The doctor also shared a photo with Pia Wurtzbach on his Instagram account.

Varshavski, 26, was featured in People magazine’s 2015 “Sexiest Man Alive” issue. He recently offered a date with him in exchange for donation to the  charity, the Limitless Tomorrow Foundation, which offers financial assistance to students. A lucky donor got a romantic night out in New York City with the doctor, Time magazine reported.

Wurtzbach won in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant that has sparked controversy worldwide after host Steve Harvey made a huge mistake of naming the wrong woman as winner.

Pia Wurtzbach earlier revealed her dream in becoming a Hollywood star and claimed she could be the next “Bond Girl.”
