The game “Mirror’s Edge” was announced to have its own scripted TV show adaptation soon. It will be produced by Endemol Shine North America, which also produced two successful TV shows, namely, “Biggest Loser” and “Master Chef.”

Endemol finally confirmed having a new TV show adapted from the original DICE game “Mirror’s Edge.”

According to GameSpot, the “Biggest Loser” production company was able to gain rights from the game publisher to make the game into a show for their TV audience.

Turning an EA published game into a show seems to be a norm, as GameSpot previously reported that even Titanfall will have its own TV show soon.

Endemol expressed their excitement for the upcoming series. They stated that the massive global fan base and the strong women empowerment shown by the game’s protagonist were the big reasons why they opted to turn this game into a show.

“We clearly see ‘Mirror’s Edge’ as a franchise for a global TV audience. It has a strong female protagonist, a wildly rabid fan base and a worldwide brand that Electronic Arts and EA DICE have done an amazing job establishing,” Sharon Hall, studio president, said.

There is no further information yet with regards to the probable schedule for Endemol’s release of the “Mirror’s Edge” TV show. The person who would play Faith Connors remains unknown, too.

Figuring out who would be the best fit for the role of Faith Connors, here are five women who could be considered to portray the game’s lead character Faith Connors based on the gameplay’s standards:

Lucy Liu

Faith Connors’ Asian look can be likened to Lucy Liu’s appearance. Plus, her iconic portrayal as one of the heroines of “Charlie’s Angels” in 2000 can be a good basis.

Scarlett Johansson

Named one of the top stars of today, Scarlett’s transformation from being Hollywood’s sweetheart to a stunt woman based on her recent roles on the “The Avengers” as Black Widow could make an amazing Faith Connors on TV.

What is more interesting is that the actress is great when it comes to portraying a sultry character, which embodies the lead character of “Mirror’s Edge.”

Jennifer Lawrence

“The Hunger Games” lead star can be considered one of the best options Endemol could choose from to take the lead role for the show. Jennifer’s incredibly stunning performance on “The Hunger Games” movie series plus Faith Connors’ reserved personality can make her the best fit.

Michelle Rodriguez

When it comes to action movies and shows, Michelle is the top choice to portray any female role who does stunts by herself. She’s one of the standard options for action-packed scenes like the ones she did in last year’s “Furious 7.”

Angelina Jolie

As one of the highest paid Hollywood actresses, Angelina can be a pricey choice if Endemol chooses her. However, having her on screen as Faith Connors will be the production’s greatest choice. The “Salt” actress has portrayed “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider,” which was also a game adaptation.

While waiting for Endemol to announce who will be Faith Connors for the upcoming “Mirror’s Edge” TV show, avid fans and gamers will have to wait for the coming sequel to launch in June.

They should keep themselves updated with the required systems for PS4, Xbox One and PC to ensure high-quality gaming experience.
