Electronic Arts has finally unveiled the system requirements for the PC version of “Mirror’s Edge Catalyst.” Players will have to prepare for a massive upgrade if they don’t meet the minimum requirements for the game.

PC Gamer shares the report on “Mirror’s Edge Catalyst’s” system requirements. A special closed beta test was planned for “Mirror’s Edge Catalyst” and it is expected to arrive in just a few days, but the full release of the game is expected next month.

Minimum:

  • OS: Windows 7 64-Bit (use the latest Service Pack)
  • CPU: Intel i3-3250 / AMD FX-6350. (Note: Mirror’s Edge Catalyst requires at least 4 logical cores to run.)
  • RAM: 6 GB
  • Hard Drive: At least 25 GB of free space
  • Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB or better / AMD Radeon R9 270x or better
  • Input: Keyboard and mouse, dual analog controller

Recommended:

  • OS: Windows 10 64-Bit (use the latest Service Pack)
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 at 3.4 GHz / AMD FX-8350 at 4.0 GHz
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • Hard drive: At least 25 GB of free space
  • Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB or better / AMD Radeon R9 280x 3GB or better
  • Input: Keyboard and mouse, dual analog controller

It has also been noted that users must update their graphic card drivers after installing “Mirror’s Edge Catalyst.” They can do so by heading to the Nvidia Geforce website http://www.geforce.com/drivers and at the AMD support site http://support.amd.com to get the most updated drivers for the game to run properly.

There is also a special discount for “Mirror’s Edge Catalyst” on PC wherein EA Origin users who will purchase the digital copy of the PC game will get a 10-percent discount. A special trial version for the game is also available in EA Origin that lets users play the opening level for a limited time.

“Mirror’s Edge Catalyst” will be available on May 24 for PC as well as for the PS4 and Xbox One.
