Is the Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr dead or is she the victim of yet another death hoax?

Miranda Kerr made headlines recently when news of her engagement to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel went public. Her announcement proved interesting and quite entertaining for netizens who seemed to enjoy her use of a bitmoji to depict the proposal. Indeed, the two make quite an attractive couple as shown by the Instagram post of the supermodel from the Nordic state dinner they attended in the White House.

However, could their romantic bliss be over so soon owing to the rumor Miranda Kerr dead? The answer is no, as the supermodel is alive and well. Although she might have had a scare due to a recent incident at her Malibu home. According to ABC News, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call from the residence.

“When the deputies arrived at the residence they found an armed security guard was involved in a physical altercation with an intruder. The intruder stabbed the armed security guard and the armed security guard shot the intruder,” the publication quoted the Sheriff’s Department. Police further confirmed the house was empty at the time of the altercation. Thus, it would mean the supermodel is safe and not in any danger.

Harper’s Bazaar featured the Malibu home of Miranda Kerr in their September issue. Apparently, the supermodel bought the house back in 2014 after her break up from actor Orlando Bloom. The rumor Miranda Kerr dead would be the latest in a string of death hoaxes flooding the World Wide Web. Previously, it was the R.I.P. death hoax on Brad Pitt. Sadly, it circulated around the time news of his divorce from Angelina Jolie went public. Perhaps, as an attempt by hackers to victimize unknowing victims curious about the actor.
