A wedding appears to be brewing Down Under for singer Miley Cyrus and actor Liam Hemsworth. Could this finally be it for the couple?
Recent reports suggest Cyrus and Hemsworth plan to exchange “I dos” on an Australian beach, Us Weekly wrote. They supposedly want the ceremony to take place in the summer. However, a specific date is yet to be revealed, the publication noted. “They’re getting married on the beach,” a source told the publication. Moreover, their respective families have pitched in to help them.
“Their parents are doing most of the work. It’s been easy!” the source added. Recent sightings of the couple in Australia revealed the singer is spending time with the Hemsworth clan.
Miley Cyrus’ father, Billy Ray, didn’t confirm his daughter’s engagement to the actor during his guest appearance on the “Today” show when the hosts asked about it. However, he did volunteer his services to the couple when necessary.
“They’re really happy, together, right now. And they know if they need a preacher, they’ve got one,” Cyrus teased the show’s hosts. The couple has not confirmed their reunion, more so their engagement, after their two-year split. The actor even denied new engagement rumors up to a month ago. Yet Liam Hemsworth believes people will be able to figure it out, Mirror wrote.
“People will figure it out. They already have … They’re not dumb,” the actor said. The singer might be following suit with an Instagram post that sheds light on her “relationship status,” Teen Vogue reported. The publication noted Miley Cyrus snuggled up in bed with Dora, Hemsworth’s dog.
The couple first met on the set of “The Last Song” in 2009, Daily Mail recalled. They announced their engagement in 2012 but broke up a year later. However, Miley Cyrus started to wear her engagement ring again two years after their split. The singer has reportedly hired French designer Simon Jacquemus to create her wedding dresses for the wedding.
“Simon is going to help Miley create a series of quirky outfits. She says there will be five outfit changes throughout the day and pink will definitely be a running theme,” the publication cited information provided to Us Weekly by an unnamed source.
