Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have mostly kept mum about the status of their relationship ever since they got back together earlier this year. However, over the weekend, reporters finally caught them being “super lovey dovey” in Malibu. Does this mean the couple’s no longer shy about their relationship?

Hollywood Life’s source seems to think so. According to the insider, the couple seems to have recently become more open in terms of their public displays of affection. The actor even took his chopsticks at one point and began feeding the “Wrecking Ball” songstress some sushi rolls.

The gossip news site’s source also said the couple might have shared a kiss or two – or even five – over dinner. However, they neither made out nor did anything over the top apart from those kisses. Hemsworth did continue trying to to make Cyrus laugh. She in turn put her head on his shoulder and giggled.

Meanwhile, a separate source told People how happy Cyrus had been after spending the weekend with her rumored fiance. “She was happy to spend some time with Liam,” the source told People. “Things are great between them. They [have not] set wedding plans.  They are [just] enjoying their engagement.”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth spent a couple of days in the Los Angeles beach last week. The “Adore You” singer has reportedly been busy with her shoot for a Woody Allen series. She has been shuffling back and forth between New York and Los Angeles. Hemsworth chose to accompany her last weekend.

The couple first met on the set of the 2009 movie The Last Song. They confirmed their engagement three years later, but they eventually called things off in 2013. They got in touch again late last year. Cyrus helped Hemsworth adopt a dog in November 2015.

I'll never forget the day we met the toughest man on the planet. RIP Champ.

Rumors of their engagement started not long after that. Miley Cyrus has also began wearing the same ring Liam Hemsworth gave her when he first proposed.
