Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris Jackson is battling with addiction issues and going to Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings. The 17-year-old, who also attempted to take her life in 2013, opened up about her struggles in an Instagram post.
The teenager has compared her life’s addiction troubles to that of her late pop star father Michael, who died of a drug-related overdose in 2009. “This is f—ing ridiculous. I am expected to literally sit on my a—all day replying to comments people me (positive and negative)?” Paris Jackson wrote on Instagram, according to news.com.au.
“I have AA meeting to go to [sic]. Family obligations. PERSONAL obligations,” the teenager wrote. She then expressed her anger over how she is being ridiculed for all her social media posts by people she does not know.
“It’s so f—ing selfish that I am literally attacked on ever f—-ing thing I post just because people that I DON’T EVEN KNOW aren’t getting what they want,” Paris wrote. She also added that she loves her fans but cannot meet their “f—ing ridiculous” expectations.
“I don’t know any of you. I appreciate the love and support, but the expectations are f—ing ridiculous. The expectations for my DAD were f—ing ridiculous. He didn’t owe you anything, yet he was ripped to shreds DAILY. I will not let that happen to me,” she asserted.
Paris’ frustrations from all the expectations from people seems quite obvious. In the past she was also criticised publicly when pictures emerged of her smoking a cigarette under the legal age. The brunette beauty too to Instagram to address the criticism.
“I get it guys. I get it. Smoking isn’t cool. I get it,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “Sure as hell beats everything else in my past though. This is the least bad thing I could be doing right now. Especially compared to half the population of 17-year-old girls in this country.”
It’s been tough year lately for Paris Jackson who recently split with her boyfriend of almost one year, soccer player Chester Castellaw. The light eyed beauty is set to inherit her late father’s multimillion-dollar fortune on her 18th birthday in April.
