‘Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain’ Review is 10/10; New Trailer is Epic [Watch]

“Metal Gear Solid” creator Hideo Kojima released the new trailer of “Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain” ahead of its official kick off next week.

The trailer is a bit nostalgic as it goes back to the past of “Metal Gear”. The sneak peak promised gamers could expect an “ultimate thrill” and “ultimate story”.

“Phantom Pain” has also earned impressive reviews from several tech sites.

GameSpot gave a perfect 10/10 review, saying the “Phantom Pain” is the best “Metal Gear” in the series if not the “one of the best action games ever made.”

The site added it is also the most consistent and daring of all “Metal Gear” titles when it comes to storytelling and subject matter.

It praised the excellent cinematography and voice acting echo of the game, saying it is “contemporary standards for film and TV, carrying extraordinary characters into the realm of believability.”

The “Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain” also allows players to explore entire countrysides which players would love, rather than just roaming around a small base as in Ground Zeroes, GameSpot added.

IGN also gave its highest score possible for “Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain”, and described it as “a gameplay marvel.”

IGN said “Phantom Pain” is the least “authored” Metal Gear, but it’s also the most player-driven.

CinemaBlend noted that the latest “Metal Gear” have so far gained a score of 95 with 20 reviews counted.

“Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” will roll out on September 1 and it will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and on PC.

It was previously reported that developer Konami Digital Entertainment has decided to launch the PC version of “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain”on Sept. 1, the same day as its other console version.

The PC version was originally supposed to be launched on Sept. 15.

Konami added the game will also have a dedicated squad-based competitive multiplayer component called “Metal Gear Online” but this will be available on October 6 on console and on PC in January 2016.
