Blake Lively perfectly hid her baby bump at the Met Gala on Monday, while it had been reported earlier that she is pregnant. She is expecting her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds.

The 28-year-old actress looked intensely attractive at the star-studded affair at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. She showed up in a pleated blush pink dress of silk organza and chiffon made by Burberry.

Withing the intricate gown there was a corset top, an A-line skirt and a superhero-like detachable cape. The cape had laser-cut petal detailing on the back.

The cape was hand-dyed and contained acrylic petals, says US Magazine.

The Met Gala appearance marked her first public exposure since news of her pregnancy was divulged by a source close to Lively.

The news of Lively and Reynolds are expecting their second child together broke during mid-April. They had conceived their first baby, 16-month-old daughter James, in December 2014.

Lively kept the news of her first pregnancy under wraps. But it was during fall 2014 when she debuted her baby bump in an ethereal photo.

The photo was provided on her now-defunct lifestyle site called Preserve, says People.

During the 2014 Met Gala, The Age of Adaline actress was in her first trimester with baby James. She walked the Gala with her husband, Reynolds.

The Deadpool star, Reynolds, who is now 39, did not join her on the event’s red carpet on Monday night.

During the first pregnancy, she said that it is important to still feel like herself because so much of her life is changing.

“I would have felt foreign in my own body if I’d started dressing differently.” Lively said.

In a 2015 interview, Lively said that the 2014 Met Gala was her first red carpet with Reynolds. It was after the two had secretly tied the knot in September 2012.
