‘Me Before You’ 2nd Trailer: More Heartbreaking & Funny Scenes Revealed!

Me Before You

“Me Before You” is gearing up for a June release. The second trailer just dropped and features some sizzling chemistry between the lead pair.

The second trailer also offers a peek into some funny and romantic interactions between Emilia Clarke’s Louise and Sam Claflin’s William. The trailer, which dropped yesterday, has a few heartbreaking scenes as well.

According to Cosmopolitan, Louise and William share some lovely scenes where they exchange stories, fashion tips, and advice. For instance, there is a scene with William advising Louisa to “lose the scarf.” “If you are going to wear a dress like that Clark, you have to wear it with confidence,” he adds.

“Only you, Will Traynor, will tell a woman how to wear a bloody dress,” retorts Louisa.

Another scene features Clarke sitting on Claflin’s lap. “You know you would never have let those breasts so near to me if I wasn’t on a wheelchair,” says William.

Barely controlling her laughter, Louisa replies “Well, you never would be looking at these breasts if you hadn’t been in a wheelchair.” On insisting he would have, she elaborates, “You would have been too busy looking at the lanky blondes … ”

“Anyway, I would have been there serving drinks. One of the invisibles. Am I right?” she ends.

“You know Clark, you are pretty much the only thing that makes me wanna get up and walk,” adds William.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the trailer manages to build the lead characters and showcase their chemistry. It also engages them in smile-worthy chit-chat, share their vulnerabilities and gets them to fall for one another despite the star-crossed nature of their relationship. The three-minute clip is everything that diehard romantics would ask for from a movie.

“Me Before You” is directed by Thea Sharrock. The screenplay is written by Jojo Moyes, who also wrote the book. The movie stars Charles Dance, Jenna Coleman, and Matthew Lewis along with Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin.
