Some exciting Manchester transfer news are delighting Man City fans. Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick has already declined Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane.

The Real Madrid Rumor

Earlier this year, the 27-year-old made a trip to his mother’s Spanish hometown. Commenting to the media that he would like to play for Spain someday, the forward was linked to a San Bernabeu move come transfer season. However, Aubameyang has recently put the rumor to rest. He said it was a long term ambition of his to play for Spain, but he is not likely to commit to a transfer to any Spanish club this transfer season or in the near future.

Manchester City on the Move

Manchester City and Pep Guardiola have been closely watching the young forward from afar. Seeing Aubameyang proving himself to be a lethal force in the field, the club sees him as a key weapon in destroying their arch enemy on the football field, Manchester United, the Daily Express notes.

Though Manchester City has already brought in transfers, Guardiola is determined to break their transfer cap if need be. The club has already signed up Nolito for their current attack team. However, Guardiola sees Aubameyang as another important offensive player to bring him success next season.

Borussia Dortmund

The Bundesliga club has already lost Henrikh Mikhitaryan in an earlier trade, courtesy of Mino Raiola and Manchester United. With Manchester City’s interest in their talented forward, they are bound to lose another elite player.

Aubameyang  himself is keen to leave the Bundesliga club though he has not indicated why. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund has to keep the forward contented. They will also have to fend off another competitor for the forward in the form of Atletico Madrid.

Borussia Dortmund enjoyed the talents of Aubameyang last season. The 27-year-old scored 39 goals in 46 appearances last season.

As Borussia Dortmund stands to lose another discontented but talented player, the Bundesliga has declined to declare a transfer price for the forward.

However, this Manchester transfer news might likely push forward. What with Aubameyang’s will to leave and Guardiola’s determination to bring the forward to his club, it’s just a matter of days before the transfer happens.
