Madonna’s “Rebel Heart” world tour seems to be a jinxed one. It is laced with a child custody battle which has probably led to the singer experiencing emotional outbursts and meltdown on stage, the latest one a drink and swear drama at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena.
This time, she was heard swearing on the stage. “Someone please f*** me,” she said to a packed Rod Laver Arena. The Sun reveals that she went on to add, “If I have learnt one thing in my life, it’s just go with it. If you just laugh it doesn’t hurt as much.”
At one point, the “Like a Virgin” singer was seen sprawled across the stage. She toppled from a tricycle with a bottle of tequila in her hands, reveals News.com.au. The star joked, “You would think it was in my DNA!” She was also seen taking occasional gulps of the drink during the performance.
Like her Auckland leg of the tour, she dedicated another song to her estranged son Rocco, whose photograph was projected in the background. The Rod Laver performance came after her drunk clowning act earlier, where she was criticised for keeping the fans waiting for hours. While it was said that she had one cocktail too many, her reps beg to differ. They defended the singer saying, she just had one cosmo and the tipsy appearance was a part of the new act, reports TMZ.
Daily Mail reveals that Rocco’s custody battle has taken a toll on the 57-year-old singer. She was seen arriving at the venue looking gaunt, fatigued, and revealing veins.
Madonna is involved in a custody battle for her son Rocco, all throughout the Rebel Heart World Tour. According to the publication, Rocco’s decision to live with his father in London seems to have affected the singer a lot, who couldn’t stop herself from calling Guy Ritchie (Rocco’s father) a “son of a b***h” on the stage.
