Apple surprised the crowd after confirming that the iPhone 7 does not contain a headphone jack anymore. However, they might remove it again for the MacBook Pro 2016.

Several sources and tech websites believe that the tech titan will release the flagship laptop next month. But prior to that, they have been asking the MacBook owners if they are using the headphone jack.

“Do you ever use the headphone port on your MacBook Pro with Retina Display?” That is the question that captures the user’s attention. According to The Verge , it is possible that Apple has been doing the survey to reconsider the development, including the opt out of the feature.

Is it possible that AirPods will be paired up with the MacBook Pro 2016? Apple is still mum on the subject.

But then, they would also want to introduce the Bluetooth-powered AirPods to the MacBook users. Of course, they need to market the wireless headset, and in order to do that, they might improve the upcoming products, especially the laptops, might as well the hybrid tablets.

On the other hand, MacRumors believes that the possibility is high. But on the contrary, they reported that Apple might not push the plan through.

Notably, there is another leak that the 2016 MacBook Pro will contain 4 USB-C ports, including the headphone jack. But then, it might not feature an SD card slot, HDMI port, USB-A port, or a MagSafe connection.

There are mixed opinions regarding the changes involving the iPhone 7. But despite that, Apple remains at the top of  the competition.

The year 2016 must be the lucky year for the tech firm. Meanwhile, it might be not for Samsung, after they recall the faulty Galaxy Note 7.

The battery issue of the latter gives Apple the opportunity to market iPhone 7 to the previous Galaxy owners. They might use it as well to their advantage for selling the MacBook Pro 2016.
