Little Mix is set to release an “extra special” single next week. Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson have revealed they will be adding another single to their “Get Weird” album.
According to Digital Spy, the British girl group shared the exciting news via a message on their playlist on Spotify. “So we have an extra special song coming for you next week,” Jesy Nelson said of the track. “I bet you can’t wait to hear it!” The site noted that fans will have to subscribe to the track when it becomes available in the forthcoming days to listen to their new release.
Meanwhile, Little Mix – which was formed on the hit talent show ‘”X Factor” back in 2011 – and have since collaborated with a number of artists.
Little Mix is slowly becoming the Spice Girls of this generation. Not only do they release great songs that suit for almost all ages, but they also give impressive shows that led them to beat out Adele as the highest-selling arena tour in the UK this year with their “Get Weird” shows.
International Business Times reports that over 300,000 people around the UK went to see their “Get Weird” shows, making the Little Mix tour as the most popular so far for 2016.
The site stated that “The Get Weird tour supports Little Mix’s third eponymous studio album which reached number two in the UK and 13 on the US Billboard 200 chart in November 2015. The album features chart-topping number one Black Magic, Love Me Like You, Secret Love Song (featuring Jason Derulo) and their new release Hair alongside dancehall star Sean Paul.”
Jade Thirlwall took to her Instagram account to show her excitement and to thank fans of Little Mix, which made this achievement possible for them.
“Thank you to the 300,000+ who made the #GetWeirdTour the highest selling UK arena tour of 2016 we hope you enjoyed it!” she wrote.
