Liam Hemsworth finally opened up about his relationship with Miley Cyrus and declared that he is “happy.”
The 26-year-old Aussie actor told Entertainment Tonight that everything is good between him and Cyrus.
ET asked the actor the question the question that everybody is waiting for him to confirm. “What is the status? Are you getting married?” ET asked.
Hemsworth insisted on keeping his personal life private. “I just find it’s easier to not talk about my personal life because usually I say the wrong thing, so it ends up just complicating things more. So, I feel like it’s better not to talk about it,” he said.
The “Hunger Games” star, however, added “Everyone’s happy. I’m happy, yeah.”
Cyrus and Hemsworth rekindled their romance late last year. There have been rumours that the two have secretly tied the knot, but the actor has denied that he is engaged. “I am not engaged, no,” Liam Hemsworth said in an interview last March.
The two has been recently spotted holding hands and making their way through Los Angeles airport, after spending time in Australia.
In the past months, the “Wrecking Ball” singer has spent time with the Hemsworth family. Last month, she was spotted having a lunch date at a vegan restaurant in LA with Liam and his older brothers, Chris and Luke, and Luke’s wife, Samantha. Just recently, Cyrus got a matching wave tattoo with Chris’ wife, actress Elsa Pataky.
The actor also talked about Dora, the dog the adopted last year from an animal rescue organization in Los Angeles with the help of Cyrus, the International Business Times reported.
“Dora the Explorer! My brother’s kids are a big fan of the show, so it was definitely inspired by that,” he said. Coincidentally, Cyrus shared on Thursday a photo on Instagram cuddling Dora.
Meanwhile, Hemsworth will star in the upcoming film “Independence Day: Resurgence,” which hits theatres on June 24.
