If Rayo Vallecano wants to take advantage of Barcelona, they can do it right on Saturday as the Catalonian side is most vulnerable now. The Catalans have lost two of their past three matches in La Liga and Javi Guerra’s side can defeat them in their own backyard.
Goal.com reports that the Celta Vigo side did stunningly well to stop Barca’s 100 percent start record in the La Liga Season. With a disappointing 4-1 loss against Celta, Barcelona lost to Sevilla 2-1 which gives hope to the star striker.
Speaking to the reporters, Guerra says, “In football anything can happen, nobody is invincible,” he further states, “Celta has a great team, they play very good football and has an impressive day against Barcelona that was not on form and did damage. When we have the ball we must play forwards and if we there is pressure we can catch them on the break. It is clear that Barcelona plays with a lot of risk and will leave many spaces behind.”
“Let’s go without fear and try to take advantage of those spaces to play fast, go forward and have chances.”
The Catalan side has a lot to think about. With Lionel Messi still out, Andreas Iniesta is also out with a knee injury. Luis Suarez, on one hand, is not actually hopeful about his presence in their clash on Saturday, and Neymar Jr is left with two youngsters by his side, Sandro and Munnir Al Haddadi, to lead the Barca attack.
History is against Guerra’s side as Barca won the previous nine meetings scoring 40 goals with conceding just two, notes Yibada.
