‘My Kitchen Rules’ 2015: Inside Colin Fassnidge $1.8M Mansion

Australia’s superstar chef and “My Kitchen Rules” judge, Colin Fassnidge, has just acquired a new home worth $1.8M.

The 42-year old chef, who celebrated his birthday last week, bought his mansion in Malabar, Sydney, Daily Mail Australia reports.

Located in the southeastern suburbs, the 481-square-meter residential home has five bedrooms, two bathrooms, floorboards that go from the kitchen to the hallway up to the carpeted living room. It has a wide kitchen as well.

The two-storey mansion also features a living area on the 2nd floor towards the wide balcony, overlooking the Malabar beach.

It also has a “breathtaking” Zen garden which is perfect for relaxation.

He acquired the new home thru South Eastern Realty selling agent Eva D’Angelo.

“The buyers loved the lifestyle of Malabar, being a beachside suburb. They also liked the set up with three bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs as they have a lot of overseas family that visits,” D’Angelo explained to The Daily Telegraph.

His new luxurious home will provide more room for his wife, Jane Hyland, and their kids, Lily and Maeve.

Meanwhile, the 4Fourteen owner currently listed his previous Matraville house at an auction, according to Property Observer.

“His Matraville townhouse at 13/16-18 Wassell Street goes to August 15 auction through Home Estate Agents’s Andrew Anastassiou and John Castrisos,” citing another Daily Telegraph report.

Acquired four years ago, he and his wife bought the Matraville townhouse for only $595,000. The source said that they are planning to sell the house at $750,000.

“We originally lived in Clovelly and there we had Lily, our first girl and when we had our second [daughter] — Clovelly was a bit over our price range at the time,” Fassnidge commented.

“We wanted somewhere that you could raise a family in a good area.”
