There are a lot of options for you if you are a big fan of reality TV. But two shows that really stand out are “Kiss Bang Love” and “Sex Box USA.”  Which show is better? Should you watch either one?

Typical dating shows usually play matchmaker for singles looking for love. In these shows, contestants usually go on dates with potential partners in order to figure out who they want to be with. “Kiss, Bang, Love” is also a matchmaking show of sorts. It matches ten singles with 15 potential partners. However, instead of letting them go on dates with these potential partners, “Kiss, Bang, Love” makes these singles base their final decision on a single kiss.

This might sound like an interesting enough premise. However, if The Bit Bag is to be believed, “viewers are clearly not amazed with people showing overt public display of affection.”

The Seven Network original isn’t doing that well in terms of ratings. The network has had success with previous reality TV offerings, “Married At First Sight” and “Seven Year Switch,” which both get an average viewers of at least 800,000. But “Kiss, Bang, Love” has only been getting an average of 479,000 viewers per episode. The Bit Bag even claims the show is “no match” for “Sex Box.”

However, according to News Australia, “Sex Box” has its share of problems too. Instead of bringing would-be couples together, the show shines a spotlight on couples with relationship drama. Each couple is made to talk through each of their issues. But first, they are made to have sex in a closed-off box on stage while a panel of “sexperts” talk about “relationships and healing.”  The news site claims it “is worse than what it says on the can.”

Which reality show seems more interesting to you? You can catch “Kiss Bang Love” every Tuesday night on Seven at 8:45 p.m. On the other hand, “Sex Box USA” airs every Sunday on SBS2 at 10:20 p.m.
