Kim Kardashian weight loss is giving everyone the #BodyGoals as the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star quickly shed off her pregnancy weight after giving birth to Saint West just six months ago. So how did she do it?
According to Hollywood Life, Kim Kardashian weight loss is the result of following a strict meal plan to achieve her current weight. Atkins Vice President of Nutrition and Education, Colette Heimowitz, revealed that the 35-year-old reality star credits her impressive weight loss to Atkins 40 meal plan.
The Atkins 40 meal plan is specifically made to help out moms who are still breastfeeding. Since the baby is sharing the nutrients of the mother, the goal of the Atkins 40 meal plan is to give enough calories for both mom and the baby, while losing weight at the same time.
Heimowitz shared that Kim Kardashian weight loss is based on this strict meal plan: “Kim would start with a 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/4 cup of strawberries and 1/4 cup of pecans for breakfast. Snacks focused on fruits or veggies, such as a 1/2 cup of red peppers and five cherry tomatoes with two tablespoons of dressing.”
Then for lunch, Mrs. West “would eat a salad with salmon, followed by another snack of 1/2 of a peach and a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.” Finally, her dinner will consist of “four to six ounces of grilled chicken, six stalks of asparagus, one medium tomato and two ounces of fresh mozzarella with two basil leaves, one teaspoon of olive oil and one teaspoon of balsamic vinaigrette for flavor.”
It seems that the Atkins 40 meal plan is definitely a huge help for Kim Kardashian weight loss as E! News reports that the reality star shared to her Snapchat account that she’s 12 lbs. away in reaching her 2010 weight. She then flaunted her 26-in waist on Thursday’s Snapchat post.
