After Kim Kardashian’s nude selfie uproar, Amber Rose supported her and even invited Kardashian to tell her story at Rose’s next SlutWalk.
“I thought she looked beautiful,” she said in an interview with ABC.
“I think she’s a great mom and I’m gonna stick up for Kim. People think Kim and I are archenemies, and we’re really not. We literally text each other all the time. We’re very positive toward each other.”
While #BreakingTheInternet is still trending, Kardashian posted a nude selfie on March 7. The criticism still persists with Kardashian writing an empowering essay against slut-shaming.
However, with Rose standing up for Kardashian and announcing their closeness, people are surprised. This is quite unpredictable as there has been a history of drama, not just between the two celebrities but also their family and friends.
Rose also described the manner in which she feels connected to Kardashian. “I know how hard it is to work out and try to get your body back but at the same time embracing the fact that your body does change as soon as you have a baby,” she said.
According to Rose, it is unfair to tell a woman how to dress or not to post provocative photos, when she becomes a mother.
Rose said that it is hypocritical when a “sexy guy” posts his photo with a little black strip over his private area and people will comment: Damn, he’s hot, he’s sexy, look at that body. Oh, he’s a dad too?
She took names of Justin Bieber, who “posted his butt on Instagram” and Adam Levine’s Cosmopolitan UK cover photo.
Despite all the unnecessary attention, the fact that they text all the time shows that it wasn’t just a publicity stunt. They actually do have each other’s back, says Bustle.
