They have a new feather in their cap. Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s free gaming app has topped the iTunes. The Jenner sisters seems to be aiming in following elder sister Kim to make a cool million. Their gaming app is developed by Glu Mobile, the same company that developed Kim Kardashian’s game app which made a cool AU$279 million (US$200 million) in annual revenues.
The app is named “Kendall and Kylie” and has taken the no. 1 position on iTunes. This is impressive given that the game was only launched on Wednesday. People.com explains that one of the reasons for its instant popularity is that gamers can have their own virtual high-fashion avatar that can showcase their sense of style.
According to Glu Mobile, gamers can select their hair, makeup, outfit, accessories and more. They can start a life in fashion, media, while the Jenner girls will be there as their friends and supporters. The sisters will help them connect with the right people.
The free game, reveals Daily Mail, begins in Santa Monica. Players start with no friends or job and they just have an iPhone and a tiny Santa Monica apartment. Through various levels, users have to build their contacts list, reputation and embark on adventures throughout California. This is where Kendall and Kylie help. Each time the gamer does something right, they gain followers by posting selfies in the virtual world’s social media feed. Players can unlock exclusive messages from Kendall and Kylie as they navigate through the levels.
Momager Kris Jenner was immensely proud of her two babies and took to Instagram to congratulate the girls and Glu Mobile. In addition to this one, the company has created apps for Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry and Nicky Minaj. They are currently working on one with Taylor Swift. This is not the first joint venture by the Jenner sisters. The girls have collaborated on the Kendall + Kylie line of clothing which debuted early on this month.
