Is Keeping Up with the Kardashians cancelled? Filming for the wildly popular reality show has been stopped in the wake of the robbery involving Kim Kardashian West. The future of the show is still in limbo, while Kim and the rest of the family are trying to recover from the incident.

“Kim’s well-being is our core focus right now. No decision has been made as to when production will resume,” said a spokesperson from E!, the show’s home network. The statement was shared by Variety following the announcement of a production hiatus.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 12 is currently on a mid-season break. The spin-off series Rob and Chyna is airing in its place. The new show focuses on the lives of Robert Kardashian Jr. and his fiancee, Blac Chyna. The rest of the members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan also appear on the show.

The second half of KUWTK Season 12 is scheduled to return on Oct. 23. This date has so far not been moved and the show is confirmed to air. It is unclear whether production was halted for the rest of Season 12, or for Season 13.

Considering the trauma sustained by Kim and the rest of the Kardashian family, would they rather see Keeping Up With the Kardashians cancelled? That remains to be seen. At the moment, the show is under contract to last until 2018.
