Is Katy Perry a real life “Regina George”?

According to Us Weekly, the “This is How We Do” singer has been called a “bully.” This accusation comes from a little-known singer called Ryn Weaver. Weaver took to Twitter to reply to one of Perry’s tweets about Hilary Clinton.

“LOLOLOL SORRY NOT SORRY OLEASE [sic] OPEN UR EYES…THIS TWEET IS IGNORANT IF NOT FUNDED BYE,” Weaver said in a since-deleted tweet. “No offense @katyperry but considering how much of a bully you were to me… I hope u don’t mind my mindful disagreement w ur $$ endorsement,” she added.

“I was personally victimized by Regina George tho,” she tweeted of Perry. Regina George is a character from the 2004 movie “Mean Girls.” George is the Queen B, who is portrayed as controlling, belittling and mean. Could Katy Perry be all these?

D Listed suggested that Weaver is just not a big fan of the US presidential candidate. That’s why she decided to lodge these accusations against Perry. The “Roar” singer has previously expressed support for Clinton. She has yet to address Weaver’s comments.

Weaver first gained attention in 2014 with the single “OctaHate.”

Meanwhile, the pop songstress has confirmed that her next album is underway. “I’m in the research and development phase…I do my records in a more traditional way, where the cycle is three years,” she said. Her last album, “Prism,” was released three years ago. A follow-up record might be dropping soon.

The “By the Grace of God” singer has also been spotted flirting with actor Orlando Bloom. The rumoured couple were seen going to several events together. They were first spotted “getting cozy” with each other at the Golden Globes. They did not show up at the Grammys, though.  This is the first time in eight years that Perry did not attend “music’s biggest night.”
