Kanye West Drops Album Title; Hints Future Super Bowl Performance?

Kanye West did it again. In a recent tweet, West hinted at another title for his upcoming album, revealed Spin.

Spin also reported the singer posted a countdown clock in relation to Thurday’s debut of Yeezy Season 3. His upcoming album premieres on the same date.

Stereogum revealed the singer’s follow-up tweet.

West’s latest announcement of a new secret album title would be its fourth revision.

Originally, West announced his next album’s title as “So Help Me God.” In May, he renamed the album to “Swish.” By January, he changed it to “Waves.” This led to a highly publicised Twitter war with Wiz Khalifa that also included Amber Rose.

In February, Kim Kardashian, the singer’s wife, took to Twitter and polled fans for a new title to his upcoming album.

In other news about the singer, West revealed he intended to perform at the Super Bowl. According to a source of HollywoodLife, “Kanye wants to do the Super Bowl halftime show, but not for a few years.”

The HollywoodLife source also revealed the halftime show would be used as a campaign stop in West’s bid for the presidency in 2020.

“He still is interested in becoming president and he would like to do it near 2020. Both because it will be used as a campaign stop, and the Super Bowl will most likely be in LA with the Rams new stadium being completed by then,” the insider said.

News of Kanye West for president came out last year with an announcement at the MTV VMA 2015. West received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. For his acceptance speech, he ended with the following declaration.

“I don’t know what I finna lose after this. It don’t matter, though; It’s not about me. It’s about ideas. New ideas. People with ideas. People who believe in truth,” West said. “And yes, as you probably could’ve guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president.”
