Despite their well-publicized feud, rap superstar Kanye West is expecting a Twitter shoutout from pop singer Taylor Swift on his 39th birthday on June 8.

According to Hollywood Life, Kanye West is anticipating celebrations like “a national holiday” and that he wants celebrities to give him the attention he believes he deserves. He especially expects Swift to show “major respect” to him.

“He’s going to be scrolling social media with his feet up, beer in hand, smiling from ear to ear with all the tributes he’s going to get and he’s expecting Taylor to pay homage,” the source said.

If that happens, West will allegedly end his feud with the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer and will “overlook” all the past incidents with her, Aceshowbiz reported.

West’s love-hate relationship with Swift started in 2009 when he interrupted her during her acceptance speech for Best Female Video in the MTV Video Music Awards, insisting that his pal Beyonce has “one of the best videos of all time!” Beyonce brought back Swift onstage to finish her speech when she ended up winning Video of the Year for “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).

It appeared West and Swift’s relationship was on the mend until he released the song called “Famous,” which allegedly refers to Swift. She, on the other hand, delivered a provocative acceptance speech which might be directed at West when she received her second Album of the Year trophy at this year’s Grammy Awards.

In other news, during the pink carpet event of the 2016 CMT Awards, Fifth Harmony member and Swift pal Camila Cabello has given an update on how the star is doing after her break up with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, E! News reported.

“She’s good,” the “Work from Home” singer said. “She was just in Nashville.”
