It’s not the first time the Singer, Justin Bieber admitted that he is undergoing depression and that he feels isolated all the time.
In a recent interview with NME, the 21-year-old singer revealed how he is fighting with depression and loneliness due to fame. Emotional Bieber, later clarified why and explained how he feel so sad being followed and surrounded by many people everyday of his life.
“You get lonely, you know, when you’re on the road. People see the glam and the amazing stuff, but they don’t know the other side. This life can rip you apart.” he said according to an article in Stuff.
Being famous but having a life where you can’t go anywhere you want or do anything alone or do things without any paparazzi watching you is something to be depressed about. The singer also said he couldn’t think of any other person wanting the same situation as his.
He further reiterated that “People see the glam and the amazing stuff, but they don’t know the other side. This life can rip you apart.”
Justin Bieber also believes that the way he feels have something to do with how he was introduced in the industry. The image of a boy with a wholesome personality and a nice hair is not giving him enough space to commit mistakes.
Bieber also compared himself to late singer Amy Winehouse, “I could see what the media was doing to her, how they were treating her. People thought it was funny to poke her when she was at rock bottom, to keep pushing her down until she had no more of herself.” he said.
But the singer also said that his upcoming album “Purpose’ helped him a lot coping up through difficult times. This album is going to be released today.
