Justin Bieber is supposed to be busy with his “Purpose” world tour but apparently, he is also taking his time to wander barefoot around several places.
Yes, you read it right – he roams the streets without any footwear.
While on a brief stop in Boston on Monday, the singer clearly enjoyed his day passing the time at the Boston Public Garden. At a certain point, he ditched his shoes and meandered through the grass totally barefoot, the Boston Globe reported. The “What Do You Mean?” singer was then photographed by several fans while roaming, playing with a squirrel and lying down in the park with earphones in his ears.
Justin Bieber also took offense on fans who took pictures of him.
Twitter user @_SheWillBLoved captioned a video of the 22-year-old strolling down a sidewalk. “Lmaoo I was recording @justinbieber and he passed by me and said ‘don’t do that’ he was mad,” she wrote.
Another video on social media showed Bieber staring vacantly as his bodyguard defended him from a fan’s hug.
The singer then wrote an open letter to fans on Instagram announcing that he will no longer be taking photos with them when he is spotted in public.
This somehow contradicted his Snapchat post declaring his desire to connect with fans rather than take selfies. E! News quoted the singer, saying, “Honestly I’d rather stand there and talk to you for five minutes and not take any photos … just have that moment without the chaos,” he said. “It’s like, why did you travel to see me in the first place — was it really to see me or was it to get that moment of you seeing me so you could tell people about it?”
He further explained on Instagram that he enjoys meeting people, but ends up feeling drained and filled with so much of other people’s spiritual energy. “Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense, and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression.”
According to Daily News, Bieber’s spree of bizarre behavior began days ago. The singer recently broke down crying onstage during a Philadelphia performance last Saturday. He also had a tiny cross tattooed on his face and is also facing a lawsuit for allegedly smashing a clubgoer’s cellphone.
Justin Bieber is set to perform at Boston’s TD Garden arena on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
