The “Justice League” movie might invade the big screens soon after “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” became successful. Those who were able to watch the recent DC film must have noticed a hint about the arrival of the new villain, Darkseid. However, there are speculations that the rumored action film will be about a battle between Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa’s Aquaman.
Umberto Gonzales of Insider on Pop Boom brought the rumour that there will be a war between Amazonians and the people of Atlantis. The host mentioned at 27:30 mark that the two clans have been “waging a war against each other” for a long time.
As a result, there might be a possibility that Batman, who is played by Ben Affleck, would interfere on the Atlantean and Amazonian war. The possibility was due to writer Chris Terrio who provided hints about the said battle during his interview with Wall Street Journal.
“For ‘Justice League’, I could be reading in the same day about red and blue shifts in physics, Diodorus of Sicily and his account of the war between Amazons and Atlanteans, or deep-sea biology and what kind of life plausibly might be in the Mariana Trench,” Terrio said.
“For ‘Batman vs. Superman’, I wanted to really dig into everything from ideas about American power to the structure of revenge tragedies to the huge canon of DC Comics to Amazon mythology,” he also revealed as he talked about the DC movies.
Citing the possibilities, Diana Prince and Arthur Curry might not be “instant friends” when the first “Justice League” film hits theaters in 2017, as noted by Music Times. Notably, Diana Prince/ Wonder Woman is the princess of the Amazons while Arthur Curry/ Aquaman is the king of Atlantis.
Part one of “Justice League” movie will kick off in cinemas on Nov. 17, 2017.
