‘Jurassic World 2’ Movie Will Have Big Changes; ‘Claire Is A Different Person’

Jurassic World 2

“Jurassic World 2” is already in the works as revealed on Screen Rant following the box office success of “Jurassic World” that came out in 2015.

Characters from “Jurassic World” played by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will return for the sequel. At this time, the plot for Jurassic World 2 remains unknown.

Nevertheless, Claire, played by Howard in “Jurassic World” gave a teaser about her character’s new persona for the sequel.

While attending the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, Howard said the sequel would see a different Clare. She was not referring to just her character’s choice of shoes. Howard attended the festival for the premiere of “Soulmates,” a short film she directed.

In an interview with E! News, the actor mentioned that writers Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly gave her some insight into the sequel’s plot. When asked about the infamous high heels, she replied:

“… Claire is a different person now. The person she is at the end of the [first] movie is not the person she was in the beginning. Her armor of sorts was that white, pristine outfit with heels in a very corporate environment and stuff, and the chick at the end – totally different. So yeah… it better not be heels.”

In “Jurassic World,” there was a lot of criticism for Claire’s character. However, Howard said the writers would undoubtedly consider these as they write the sequel.

Any change to Claire’s character is possible. However, it would ultimately depend on who ends up as the sequel’s director. Trevorrow directed Jurassic World.

In an earlier interview with Wired U.K. in 2015, Trevorrow already gave a possible hint about the sequel’s storyline. He referred to the line of B.D. Wong’s character, Dr. Wu, “We’re not always going to be the only ones who can make a dinosaur.”

Official title for the sequel remains unknown to date. As reported earlier, fans can expect the movie to hit theaters in June 22, 2018.
