American diva Julia Roberts , who can sell a refrigerator to an Eskimo through her amazing marketing skills, has been recently spotted selling sex toys.
It was during her Thursday appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” when Roberts was challenged to hawk products that were hidden to her but visible to the audience. It was a steamy collection that included a blindfold, furry handcuffs, leather handcuffs, and cat o’ nine tails.
Being completely unaware about the items, the 48-year-old came forward to market them. Julia Roberts, 48 is playing a Home Shopping Network host in new film “Mother’s Day.”
She started advertising the unknown products saying, “I think everyone should have one of these. It is versatile. It is hypoallergenic. It comes in a variety of sizes, and Mother’s Day is around the corner.”
Things became all the more hilarious when Roberts started to brag about her collection of these unseen products. After getting teased by Ellen, she claimed to have “seven” of them, and said wearing those makes her feel “really empowered, and just ready for any kind of challenge.” She explained, “I feel part of things, like I do now. I don’t feel in any way isolated.” She added that she would love to wear them to play tennis—”if the weather is nice”—or “around the house” when she’s cooking or “watching a movie with her husband,” ENews reveals.
When DeGeneres showed her the collection, the “Pretty Woman” actress looked shocked even though the audience was constantly giggling while she was selling the sex toys.
Roberts howled with laughter saying,”Oh my God!”
ENews also reports, on her daytime show, DeGeneres also asked Julia Roberts about her co-star George Clooney in the forthcoming movie “Money Monster.” The American beauty replied, “George is so enormously popular that I don’t always enjoy going out to dinner with him. Because everybody wants to talk to George, and I have a tendency when a bunch of us go out to dinner to go home early,” she admitted. “I also like to go to bed early. And he always shouts ‘Quitter!’ as I am leaving the restaurant.”
