Jordan release dates are much anticipated by the sneaker community and this weekend sneakerheads will rejoice with the release of the Air Jordan 6 “Infrared”.
The retro sneaker will be hitting stores this weekend while U.S. celebrates July 4th. Returning after 13 years, the Jordan 6 low last released in 2002 and this year it is making a comeback with new colorways, notes SneakerNews.
This will also be the first time that the “Infrared” colorway will be presented in a lowtop version of the sneakers. With official colors “White/Black-Infrared 23”, the Jordan 6 low is tagged at $175.
Sneaker fans will love the way this pair looks so retro yet modern too. While the pair stays true to its predominant white with accents of red and black, SneakerNews notes that this pair also offers new features different from the original Jordan 6 Infrared pair.
“The pair deviates from the White/Infrared aesthetic found on the standard Air Jordan 6 thanks to a black midsole while the shade also extends down from the neoprene tongue.”
Bleacher Report also highlights the icy blue bottom of the basketball shoe, with an “epic jumpman design.”
“As a total package, it is hard to find any fault with this take on the Jordan 6 Retro. Some prefer the comfort of a low design, and it’s hard to imagine these won’t hold up well on the hard court if it’s how an owner wants to use them,” Bleacher Report wrote.
The Air Jordan 6 low “Infrared” will hit stores around the globe on Saturday, Fourth of July 2015.
