Seems Jordan Brand is bent on releasing as much 7’s this year as the brand is expected to release a new colorway this weekend, the Air Jordan 7 “Blue Dusk”.
The new Jordan pair features a predominant blue-grey hue in the upper and hints of gold trimmings in just the right corners, including the Jumpan logo on the sides and the word “JORDAN” on the tongue. The sole is mostly white, with color peeking just enough on the sides of the sneaker. A purple Jumpan logo is also accented on the bottom of the shoe.
With official colors Blue Dusk/Metallic Gold-Obsidian-White, the Jordan 7 “Blue Dusk” will exclusively be released in Girls GradeSchool (GG) sizes only. Jordan fans and sneaker collectors with smaller feet may still cop the shoe which is expected to run up to size 6 (24.0 cm) or 7 (25 cm).
“Small-size exclusive Air Jordan colorways have a tendency to arrive out of nowhere, materializing a couple weeks before their release rather than a couple months before like the men’s versions,” Sole Collector wrote.
The pair will drop on Saturday, July 25, in selected Jordan and Nike stores around the world. Fans looking to purchase online can visit online stores like Eastbay and Kids Footlocker to purchase. Jordan 7 “Blue Dusk” price is at $140. Pairs will also be sold on Ebay for a higher tag.
Just last weekend (July 18), the basketball shoe brand released a Men’s version of the Jordan 7. The Jordan 7 “Bordeaux” colorway features official colors “Black/Bordeaux-Light Graphite-Midnight Fog”.
The Air Jordan 7 was originally released in 1992, the same year Michael Jordan won his second consecutive NBA Championship with the Chicago Bulls.
According to Sneaker News, “in 2015, Jordan Brand released several new colorways as a celebration of the sneaker’s 23rd Anniversary.”
