The Jordan 11 “72-10” is among Nike’s Air Jordan XI iconic models. This coming weekend, Nike will release the newest pair of Air Jordan shoes that sneaker fans will definitely love.
According to Nike.com, the Air Jordan 11 “72-10” will be launched this Saturday, December 12 at 10 AM EST/ 7 AM PST. At a retail price of $220, it is expected to sell out very quickly.
The newest “72-10” pair has the colour Black/Gym Red-White-Anthracite. It will be available in full family sizing.

Why is it called as “72-10”? As mentioned on the site, the newest Air Jordan shoes is a tribute to Michael Jordan’s historical season of 1995/1996. During that season, Michael Jordan had “a record breaking 72-10 regular season record and another championship ring.”
According to Nike.com, the “premium tumbled leather” is paired with Microfiber suede to create its timeless look. An iridescent sheen is also featured around the shoe.
The site mentioned that the colours red and black “adorn carbon fiber shank plate” which is surrounded by a clear outsole. Inside the tongue, there’s a new tag which reads: “72-10 QUALITY INSPIRED BY THE GREATEST SEASON LED BY THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER.”

However, according to Foot Locker, Aussie sneaker fans will have to wait a few days before they can get a pair of their own. On their official website, Foot Locker wrote that all sizes of the Jordan 11 “72-10” will be unavailable despite Nike’s launch this weekend.
Their announcement reads:
“Due to unforseen circumstances out of our control the Jordan XI Retro (black/gym red-white-anthracite) mens and kid’s full family are DELAYED at all Western Australia (WA) stores and will miss the anticipated launch date. A new launch date for these stores has been set as the 19th December 2015.”
