Missed John Cena? Well, the wrestling champ will give you more reasons to stop watching WWE and start watching his new show as rumours are making the rounds about his apparent exit from professional wrestling.

There were end number of speculated reasons on Cena’s absence from the ring. That has been put to rest by Pro Wrestling Writer Scott Keith, who mentioned in his blog that John Cena has extended his break to next fall as he is gearing up for a new reality television series with FOX.

According to his post, “A friend in the fitness industry is working on a fitness-themed reality show for FOX. The show is set to air in the spring. He and a few others were told this week that the filming window is set for Oct. 26 to the first or second week of January, and that it will take 6-8 weeks to do everything. They also found out that the host of the show is going to be John Cena. I’m guessing this explains his rumoured hiatus after HIAC.”

The filming of the new fitness-themed reality for FOX will start from Oct. 26, after “Hell in a Cell”, and will continue till the first or the second week of January as noted by Whatculture. The show will premiere in the Spring of 2016.

Fans speculated that Cena must be out with an injury or is planning a possible marriage with Nikki Bella. Cena has always been very intense about his work ethics and he has proved it again by taking another additional adventure project.

However, as reported by Wrestlezone, Cena is likely to return in December for a WWE live event at Madison Square Garden.

There has been a slump in ratings for WWE and they are making arrangements to rope in the likes of Undertaker and The Rock to fill in Cena’s absence from the wrestling ring. The next year is going to be very challenging for Cena who is at the back end of his career and we fans would definitely love to see him doing his new adventure series.
