The “Fight of The Year” between Jesus “Renuente” Soto Karass (28-10-3, 18 KOs) and Yoshihiro “El Maestrito” Kamegai (26-3-1, 23 KOs) has already garnered huge popularity in LA. The high demand for April 15 fight is evident from the sell-out at the Belasco Theatre.

According to the Boxing News 24 reports, the LA Fight Club will be accommodating an additional ballroom viewing section which will open at the Belasco Theatre “for the first time in LA FIGHT CLUB history.”

The reports say that the fans will be able to enjoy the “festive fight atmosphere” from the upstairs ballroom lounge, complete with live fight commentary, DJ, food, full bar and bottle service.

Jesus Soto-Karass talks about the fight and says that being a Japanese, he is a warrior at heart. He comments, “Everyone knows I’ve never ducked anyone, I’ve never been scared of anyone, and it’s the same thing now as at the beginning of my career. I’m not afraid of anyone and I’ll fight anyone.

“As a veteran, I don’t feel old. And like I said, it’s going to be a war. It’s an honour to fight a warrior like Kamegai is.

“Everyone knows that Japanese fighters are warriors, but the winners are going to be the fans that get to watch the fight.”
