‘Iron Man,’ ‘Jessica Jones’ Crossover in the Works? Details Here!

Jessica Jones

Will we see “Iron Man” teaming up with “Jessica Jones” in an upcoming episode?

According to Comicbook.com, “Jessica Jones” actress Krysten Ritter said she is most interested in seeing her character work with Tony Stark. “It would be really awesome to team up with Iron Man,” she said. “Just lots of booze!”

Jokes aside, the comic book blog agreed and called this the “sensible” choice. Jones and Stark would work well together because he “has a similar drinking habit and loves to be sarcastic.” It would be a “match made in heaven.”

A team up with the other “Avengers” would not work, the blog added. “Captain America wouldn’t approve of pretty much any of Jessica’s actions. The Hulk would blow her cover. Thor would be too hasty to conform with her plans,” it explained.

Meanwhile, Inquisitr reports, Jessica Jones might also be joining the Iron Man and the other “Avengers” on screen. Producers of the next “Avengers” film reportedly teased details at the Wizard World Comic Con. They reportedly told attendees that up to 67 different Marvel characters would appear in the next Marvel film. Ritter’s bad-ass character was not mentioned by name. However, Inquisitr suggests, “she might be one of them.”

Part 1 of “Avengers: Infinity War” is scheduled to hit theaters on May 4, 2018. The second part  is meanwhile slated for a May 2019 release.

All 13 episodes of the first season of “Jessica Jones” premiered on November 20, 2015. The series was created for Netflix and based on the Marvel character of the same name. Jones was reportedly Marvel’s first attempt at a darker, more realistic comic book character. The series was renewed for a second season, which surprised even its show runner and writers.

Ritter meanwhile is set to make her first San Diego Comic Con appearance this year.
