iPhone SE vs. iPhone 6S: Which one is Right for You?

iPhone SE

The iPhone SE, the 4-inch iPhone has taken the smartphone industry by storm. It has created a bandwagon among the smartphone makers, and arch-rival Samsung is planning to introduce Galaxy S7 mini in the market.

It’s easy to admit that iPhone SE specifications make it as the possible best smartphone and a dream phone for many, but everyone doesn’t have the same preferences. So if you are planning to buy a new iPhone, here’s what you need to know.

Positive aspects of the phone

As was announced, iPhone SE is the smaller version of the iPhone 6S. Both smartphones share almost the same specifications but the earlier one sits in the hand perfectly and will not have the fear of slipping through your hands, unlike iPhone 6S.

The 4-inch smartphone feels sportier and sturdier than iPhone 6s. It is 30 grams lighter too, notes Techly.

The 4-inch smartphone is packed with a better battery life than the iPhone 6s, and powered by the same processor. Along with it, Apple Pay, the M9 co-processor, and always-on Hey Siri are included.

The Camera

Twelve MP photos, 4K video, Live Photos, and the Retina Flash are included in the 4-inch smartphone and iPhone 6S. Considering the small size of the iPhone SE, you will unlikely find a better deal than this one.

Apple might never make another iPhone SE

As of now, there’s no news of refreshing the 4-inch smartphone. So while iPhone SE is still in the market, go and grab it. Buying a small-sized phone with iPhone 6S features is not be a bad idea.

Missing features in iPhone SE

The biggest drawback in the 4-inch smartphone is 3D Touch display. The device lacks the feature even though the handset is internally identical to iPhone 6S.

Another feature is called FaceTime camera. The 4-inch smartphone carries a 1.2-MP snapper which is not great when compared to 2-MP front-facing camera of iPhone 6S.

iPhone SE may have slightly better battery life but it is not a great comparison to make. Although, the 4-inch smartphone can stay up to an entire day while iPhone 6S has the awful battery.

Storage options

The 4-inch smartphone is offered in 16 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB models. It is better to buy a 64 GB iPhone as 16G B could be of little use if you would like to store many files and data. While iPhone 6S is offered in 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB models.

The 4-inch smartphone might be a good smartphone but some features make iPhone 6S as the better one. However, buyer’s preferences matter the most.  iPhone SE could be a good phone for people who thinks iPhone 6S as lanky.
