iPhone SE Review: Better Battery Life Than 6S, 5S

The iPhone SE is considered to be one of the best deals Apple would be offering. Just when it was said, a report adds another reason to buy the 4-inch smartphone this year.

According to Forbes, Apple is offering the iPhone SE, successor of iPhone 5S, with better battery life than iPhone 6S and iPhone 5S.

It is well-known that Apple iPhone SE is sold at $399 and uses a fast A9 processor along with a latest Apple camera tech. With battery life that is said to deliver 10 hours of power makes the best smartphone from Apple. The device outwits iPhone 6S and iPhone 5S by two hours and three hours longer than the Galaxy S7, notes the Wall Street Journal.

It is worth noting that iPhone SE offers a lower-resolution display of 1136 x 640 pixels when compared to iPhone 6S’s larger 4.7-inch display screen that offers 1334 x 750 pixels. However, the display resolution of iPhone SE is considerably lower than the Galaxy S7’s 5.1-inch that offers 2560 x 1440 pixels, cites Mac Rumors. To point out that having a higher display resolution would affect the battery life. It would reduce it drastically. The iPhone SE also does not come with 3D Touch support.

Apple’s CEO Tim Cook earlier this year has said that iPhone 6 users were about 60 percent and they haven’t upgraded to either iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S Plus. The company had revealed the 4-inch iPhone models have been sold almost 30 million units in 2015 alone. So this makes sense that there is the considerable number of iPhone users who are on the verge of upgrading its remarkably large phone, according to BGR.

One thing is clear that Apple wants to compete with Android and in that process the company ignored a large contingent of users who find 4-inch smartphone ideal. Apple is trying to gain its lost ground by launching iPhone SE.
