Consumers eager to find out the iPhone 7 release date might have to mark three dates in September. Yet the reported upgraded specs for the popular Apple gadget could be worth the wait.
Earlier reports hinted two possible dates for the iPhone 7 release date this year. Sources earmarked the 8th in Australia and the 16th for its retail release. Now, a third and later date emerged owing to a supposed leak. However, the delay would not extend to December as earlier held. Rather, the release could happen towards the end of the month on the 23rd. Thus, September is shaping up to be the likely month for Apple iPhone users to watch out for.
An upside to the anticipation for its release date is the revelation of the likely specs for the new iPhone 7. As it turns out, current news would correlate with earlier reports hinting at what to expect, give or take a few more surprises.
iOS 10 software
The launch of iOS 10 would likely coincide with the iPhone 7 release date. Thus, the new gadget would possibly use this latest software from Apple. Its reported upgraded features include a new Siri, a better Photos app and an enhanced iMessage.
Storage capacity bumped up
iPhone users can likely expect a larger storage capability as Apple reportedly ditched the 16GB option. The rumored basic storage capacity to expect is said to be 32GB.
New camera system included
The iPhone 7 reportedly includes a new camera system with two sensors to give Samsung a bit of competition. Pictures come out brighter with better details. However, Time revealed the camera upgrade could be available only with the iPhone 7 Plus. Then again, smaller models would supposedly have the Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) technology as a consolation.
Absence of headphone jack
The absence of the headphone jack could be the biggest change on the iPhone 7. Thus, the usual earbuds shipped with a new gadget might use the Lightning port instead. Then again, could a wireless pair be used as a substitute?
