Just hours before the major Apple event, rumors and leaks are still circling the web and the latest one being a leaked image of what is believed to be the retail box for the new iPhone.
The Dutch website Techtastic got their hands on an image which shows the iPhone retail box and the words iPhone 6S etched on it. The site also claims that the image on the box is the new iPhone in the rumored Rose Gold shade. However, as rightly pointed out by Apple Insider, since the packaging appears to be damaged it is difficult to tell whether the image of the new iPhone is Rose Gold in shade or just the front of the white iPhone.
The leaked image of the iPhone 6S retail box can be viewed here.
Apple Insider also indicates that the striking image of the black Betta with yellow fins on the iPhone, isn’t the usual style for Apple and that it could potentially be indicting the presence of motion wallpapers, as currently seen on the Apple Watch. The moving watch faces on the Apple Watch switch between a flying butterfly, a flower that is blooming and a swimming jellyfish.
Chances are this could be one of the additional features on the new iPhone and given how beautiful it looks on the image, its animated version on the device would gladly be welcomed by Apple fans.
The leaks haven’t stopped there, Steve Hemmerstoffer posted a picture claiming that it is indeed the packaging sticker of the iPhone 6S. The sticker shows that a 16GB variant of the iPhone 6S would be made available. Plus, the components bundled-up with the iPhone 6S read out to be EarPods, a Lightning to USB cable and a USB power adapter. The phone will support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS along with CDMA, GSM, UMTS, TD-SCDMA, and LTE (FDD and TD) cellular technologies.
Lets wait to hear it right from the Cupertion tech company; The Apple event will be held today in San Francisco at 10 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m. Eastern time.
