iPhone 6S Plus is the premium phablet from Apple, and rival companies always look up to Apple products. Meanwhile, Xiaomi, called the Apple in China, is doing everything to make its products as good as iPhone’s in terms of quality and dethrone the brand and its popular iPhone 6S Plus.

Xiaomi Mi Max is one such product that is now being compared with iPhone 6S Plus. The rundown is as follows.

Design and Display

With a 5.5-inch 1080×1920 screen, iPhone 6S Plus weighs just over 190 grams. The device features 3D-Touch display technology and has top and bottom antenna bands at the back, lending the phablet a sophisticated and high-end feel.

The 6.44-inch Xiaomi Mi Max has a sleek design and sports the same resolution as iPhone 6S Plus. However, the device does not feature pressure-sensitive display technology and weighs 11 grams more than the 6S Plus.

Power and Performance

iPhone 6S Plus is powered by Apple’s A9 chipset coupled with 2GB memory, making the device the fastest Apple phone to date, notes GSM Arena.

On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi Max runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by Snapdragon 605 SoC paired with 4GB RAM. Although the processor is outdated, it performs daily tasks seamlessly. It also offers enough memory for users that allows for gaming without lagging.


iPhone 6S Plus comes with a 12MP rear lens with dual-LED flash offering 2160p video recording support along with an 8MP front selfie camera. When it comes to the camera, Apple’s iPhone offers the best-quality images in the market to date.

Xiaomi Mi Max sports a 16MP rear and a 5MP front snapper. It also offers dual-LED flash and Full HD recording.

iPhone 6S Plus is backed by a 2750 mAh battery, the biggest on an iPhone yet. The device comes in three storage variants of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. However, Apple has now upgraded the base model to 32GB, as reported by The Country Caller.

Xiaomi Mi Max comes in two storages: 32GB and 64GB. Both devices are backed with a 4850 mAh battery and runs efficiently throughout the day.
