Cate Blanchett and her family are relocating to the US and have decided to sell their Hunters Hill home which they bought in 2005 for $10 million. With a $15 million sale appreciation, the house is now happens to be the highest paid property in the suburb area, as reported by The Daily Telegraph.
According to Domain, this historic home Bulwarra underwent renovations worth $8 million made by the couple before they moved into the mansion. With a vast area of 3,642 square metres, this is probably the largest private property in the area.
As per the report, the renovations took a good 3 years and saw the floor space doubled and a small quarters of sorts was also added. The property has a championship tennis court overlooking the river, which only enhances the beauty of the sandstone mansion.
Residing in the up-scale North Shore region, the home spells luxury and opulence and no one should expect anything less given the price tag attached to the property.
