InFocus Bingo 10

There are very few budget phones out there that check all the boxes and if nothing else, the newly launched InFocus Bingo 10 sure comes close.

According to report on the Digital Trends, this “functional” device sports a 4.5-inch display with 854 x 480p resolution. It may come as a pleasant surprise to many that the pocket-friendly smartphone comes embedded with a 5MP camera on the front and the back with both snappers featuring LED flash as well.

A front camera coming with an LED flash is something that many high-end smartphones lack, so it’s saying something when it comes to a device retailing as cheap as the Bingo 10. Other than that, the camera also supports face recognition, beauty shot and there is a photo enhancer onboard as well.

The handset is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580M chipset with 1GB RAM. There is only 8GB storage onboard but with the microSD card that can be expanded up to 32GB. Also, there is a 200mAh battery under the hood to keep the smartphone alive.

Besides the price point and the camera, the handset is arriving with the latest OS.  This is probably the other key thing that works in its favour.

As reported by Financial Times, Sachin Thapar, country head, InFocus India shared, “For most smartphone users, the wait to own a device with latest Android operating system (OS) could be eternal. As per Google’s report, till date, only 2.3 percent of the Android smartphone is on Marshmallow.”

The handset has a very trendy look and is aimed at the youth looking for a neat budget device, packing in the latest OS. The handset is available in white with a green band around and in black with blue accent.

Bingo 10 has already begun to retail in India and will only be available in the country. It is currently retailing online at a price of INR4,299 (AU$85).
