Kolkata Knight Riders led by Andre Russell and Yusuf Pathan emerged victorious against the Royal Challengers Bangalore Monday night.
KKR’s triumph has now landed them at the second spot with five wins from a total of 8 games.

Andre Russell flourishes for KKR catching almost every ball thrown his way with 18 runs and ends the game with a total of 39 runs. Yusuf Pathan was on another level for the game. A fireball entering the field, he didn’t let up until he finished the game with 60 runs in 29 balls for KKR, bringing the team another win.
Andre Russell also bags the Man of the Match award for a great game.
RCB was off to a bad start with Gayle’s early dismissal while Rahul and Kohli strived to keep their scores up for the team, according to ESPN Cricket Info. Though the RCB has big players with fast bowlers, RCB underperformed yet again against KKR.
Watson missed balls and RCB missed opportunities of getting rid of Lynn.
Kolkata Knight Riders had a marvelous run of the game and defeated the home team RCB by five wickets. This is also the 4th consecutive win of KKR against RCB while playing catch up on the scoreboard. Landing on the second spot, KKR is now fired up more than ever to win their next game in the Indian Premier League 2016.
While KKR has moved up two spots, RCB is still stuck at the seventh position with 7 losses.
