India is all set to host the sixth edition of the ICC T20 World Cup. Cricket in the sub-continent has always garnered frenzied fans who make their way from all around the globe. The World Cup in 2011 proved to be successful, not only in terms of the crowd and sponsors, but also for the host country as they lifted the World Cup in the final against Sri Lanka.

We hope to see a similar contest between the stumps, this time in the shortest format of the game. According to report, Bangladesh hosted the previous edition of the T20 World. The previous title was clinched by Sri Lanka. They will go into this tournament looking to defend their title.

The tournament kicks-off on March 8 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur while the Final match has been scheduled for April 3 at the Eden gardens in Kolkata. Australia will kick start their World T20 campaign on March 21, 2016 against arch rivals New Zealand. The recent few T20 games have not been favorable for the Aussies as they suffered a series of brown-wash by India down-under. The Australian team are now playing South Africa in a three-match T20 series.

Glenn Maxwell and David Warner managed to pull off a win in the second T20 International against South Africa to square the series. The Australian team looks balanced with even mixture of pace and spin. Ashton Agar and Nathan Coulter-Nile will be tested in the sub-continent.

Here is the full Australian squad for ICC T20 World Cup 2016.
