Hugh Hefner, who is 90-years-old, fell prey to the death hoax rumors on Thursday when various tabloids said that he is extremely unwell. Many news agencies and even TMZ reported that the Playboy magazine king passed away. However there was no official confirmation from Playboy Mansion about Hefner’s death.
According to TMZ, police went to Playboy Mansion to check on the businessman’s health. They reportedly spoke to his staff and confirmed about Hefner’s health. The businessman also personally spoke to the cops to inform them that he is doing fine and is in no danger. This proves that Hugh Hefner death reports are false and just a hoax like Jaden Smith, Angelina Jolie, Sylvester Stallone, Brad Pitt and other celebrities.
Hefner has been reportedly ill since last couple of years and various insiders report that he rarely comes out of his bedroom these days. But reports about his death are reportedly false. The old man himself took to Twitter to quash the rumours on Friday. He even made fun of these reports.
“I wish the tabloids had informed me a little earlier in the week that I’m sick. I might have cancelled my weekend plans,” Hefner wrote in the tweet.
Hefner is 90 so many people were not surprised with news of his death. The media giant has also not made any public appearances in last few months and there are reports that he is losing weight rapidly.
“He looks like he is down to around 90 pounds and super sick,” Page Six quoted a source as saying.
“His people are really trying to keep this under wraps. You even have to sign a confidentiality agreement to go up to see him,” the source added.
Meanwhile, Hefner also tweeted a picture with his wife Crystal Hefner and said he is actually enjoying the weekend watching a movie. Hugh Hefner death reports are false.
