Huawei just gave Australians another thing to look forward to this month. The Chinese tech giant this week unveiled a relatively cheap, dual rear Android phone. Should you buy your own? Do the Huawei Honor 8 specs make the company’s latest phone worth it?
Huawei is launching another phone from the company’s Honor line this July. According to ZDNet.com, the phone has almost the same features as Huawei’s flaghsip smartphone P9. But it would cost nearly half as much as P9.
Huawei’s previous Honor phones proved popular among people partial to both design and functionality. Honor 8 will likely be no different. The latest Honor phone might not have P9’s Leica camera branding. But it would include a 12-megapixel dual camera set-up.
According to MobileWithPrices.com, Aussies will be able to get their hands on Huawei’s latest offering before the month ends. Huawei Honor 8 would cost AUD434 (around USD330). Huawei will launch the phone in China on July 19. Although they’ve already released the complete Huawei Honor 8 specs, the company meanwhile has not yet confirmed a release date in Australia. Stay tuned for updates.
