There has been a flurry surrounding HTC’s latest flagship, the One M10, or simply the HTC 10 if the rumours are believed to be true. Now, it seems like the latest of leaks are showcasing what seems to be the handset itself – it’s clad in all metal, and it’s also available in black and silver.
The latest round of rumours started circulating when images of the HTC One M10 surfaced at online Chinese retail store, TaoBao. It features a clear view of the flagship handset, showcasing how great it looks in both of its colour variants. It looks similar to other leaks that have been making the rounds as of late. It comes with an angular aluminum build, and it features antenna stripes that we’ve seen from HTC flagships of old and the latest generation of the iPhone.
Based on the images, the One M10 features a circular camera setup, which detracts from the lineups’ angular camera shape. It also seems like the handset will come with a laser autofocus feature, as well as a dual-tone flash to cater to photography enthusiasts. USB Type-C appears to grace the bottom part of the handset, and it sits in between a single speaker grille and a microphone, which is also contrary to the company’s design in its previous flagships.
As far as the specifications go, the HTC One m10 will reportedly pack enough hardware to compete against other flagships such as the LG G5 and the Samsung Galaxy S7. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset will come in tow together with 4GB of RAM, and a 5.15-inch Super LCD 5 display also looks to be underway. It will also come equipped with a fingerprint sensor located on the home button similar to the One A9 from the company. The device will most likely be launched in an April 12 event this year.
