At the beginning of next year, HTC may unveil a phablet device as well as a top-of-the-line handset. If rumors are anything to go by then fans may witness the launch of two smartphones from HTC in the first quarter of 2016.

There is HTC One X9, which may be seen arriving a few months before the flagship One M10 device, according to @LlabTooFeR, who has often shared credible information. One X9 was initially thought to be a high-end device, but as it turns out this large-sized phone may just be sitting in the middle of the pack.

@LlabTooFeR has shared that specs of One X9 may be lower than the latest HTC One A9. Additionally, @evleaks has also confirmed that One X9, arriving from the stables of HTC, won’t boast of high-end features.

According to the report on International Business Times, this indicates that the widely-rumored specs of the device, may well just remain rumors. The device is expected to sport a Quad HD screen, 4GB RAM, a 3,500 mAh battery and will arrive powered by either MediaTek Helio X20 or Snapdragon 820.

Instead, the handset may now show-off a large 5.5-inch full HD screen supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels. The processor onboard is said to be a MediaTek chip, but there are no further details about the model. Along with 16GB storage, 2GB RAM, 3,000 mAh battery, the device in question may also feature a 13MP primary snapper and a 4MP front-facing one.

As for the flagship HTC One M10, it will be seen boasting of some really neat specs. Reportedly, it will feature a Quad HD display, 4GB RAM and 3,500 mAh battery. It may come powered by Snapdragon 820 and hold a mean 27MP camera on the rear panel. Other speculated specs include, dual BoomSound speakers for those music lovers as well as a fingerprint scanner.

HTC fans can keep coming back here for more updates on the new offerings from the company.
