HTC 10 has been garnering all the limelight since its launch happens to be only weeks away. A lot of information has been gathered on the upcoming flagship, thanks to all the leaks and the official teasers out there.
So, when a recent leak about the HTC flagship hit the Internet, it came as a surprise that a Mini version of the same may well be in the works. Dubbed as the HTC 10 Mini, the handset is expected to sport a 4.7-inch screen and come powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 823 SoC with 4GB RAM as noted by Android Headlines.
According to report on GSM Arena, the Snapdragon 823 chipset happens to be the same as the Snapdragon 820 processor, but the difference being that its Kryo CPU would run at a higher clock speed. It appears that Mini versions of flagships are making a comeback. Apple recently launched the 4-inch iPhone SE, Sony has its compact version for anyone who prefers smaller smartphones and now it appears that HTC may be heading in that same direction. But with no way to confirm the authenticity of the leak, take the rumour with a huge pinch of skepticism.
As for the HTC 10, the latest speculations hint at the device landing sans the front-facing speakers. And this may probably not go down well with many. But the company has already teased the BoomSound feature and speculations are rife that the speakers may be embedded in the bottom frame of the handset. The smartphone may sport 5.15-inch AMOLED display, Chamfered edges, 12MP primary camera and capacitive buttons amongst other features. HTC 10 will be unveiled on April 12.
In less than two weeks, tech aficionados shall know whether or not an HTC 10 Mini would be introduced to the world. Keep coming back to check back for more updates, speculations and rumours on the upcoming flagship.
